Why did I develop this blog? I was tired of having to buy expensive home school curriculum that I didn't really like and felt I was compromising. Either the curriculum was great on Math and lacking in exposure to Classical Literature or vis versa. I didn't want to be tied down to an online school, again. I just wanted a place with a good guide on how to educate my kids at home. In this site I recommend online, library, and free resources to educate your kids. The only thing that I recommend buying is a Reading Program. I do not suggest one because every family is different and quiet honestly you have to find one that works for you. I also suggest a writing curriculum but those are relatively inexpensive.
Remember that this site is a guide and, if you are like me, you will supplement your child's education with other books and resources. There are a multitude of resources on the Internet. I have posted some of my most frequented websites on the Resource Page.
